§ 197-20. Violations and penalties.

  • Any person who violates any provisions of this article shall commit a criminal offense and shall, upon being found guilty by a Magisterial District Judge, after hearing, pay a fine not to exceed $1,000, together with all court costs as permitted by law. In default of payment thereof, the defendant may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days. Each day or portion thereof that such violation continues or is permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense, and each section of this article that is violated shall also constitute a separate offense, which shall be subjection to prosecution as such.
